Welcome

In celebration of the redesign of the Caribbean Philosophical Association’s website, we have launched our new blog, “Caliban’s Readings.” As scholars invested in “shifting the geography of reason,” these monthly blogs will serve as a vehicle for greater outreach and appreciation for the epistemologies, experiences, and philosophies emerging from the Global South.

The blog contributors will primarily consist of our Secretariat, along with invited guest authors who will discuss scholarly reflections, book features, and book reviews. We hope to expand toward creating online roundtables, forums, and author interviews focused on critical reading and transdisciplinarity.

The Senior Editing Team consists of Yomaira C. Figueroa-Vásquez (Vice-President) and Dana Francisco Miranda (Secretary of Digital Outreach).
